House Concert Mumbai Sundowner! An Open-Air Socially Distanced House Concert with very limited seats.
The usual rules apply with social distancing protocols and safety measures in place for this outdoor concert on Sunday Evening.
Leah Khambata is an actress/singer-songwriter/filmmaker who has acted and performed her music across the USA, UK, and India. She graduated from Wesleyan University in Connecticut with a double major in Film and Psychology after which she worked in film production in NYC. She then got her MBA from Cornell University while she simultaneously associate produced the TV Pilot of "Surina & Mel" (starring Melanie Chandra) acted in three short films, starred in two Off-Broadway plays and also trained at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London while simultaneously playing the lead in a play at the Pleasance Theatre in London. She then wrote/produced/acted in her award-winning short film called "(t)here" which had its NYC premiere at HBO's South Asian International Film Festival. Leah's musical style is self-reflective, soothing and as she likes to call it "straight from the heart." Her original songs are on Spotify/Apple/Streaming Services and two of her music videos (for "Higher At Last" and "Something Still Here") premiered on VH1 India in February 2020.Â
`Bhrigu Sahni has been a professional musician for 5 years. After graduating from the renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston he now works as a singer-songwriter and guitarist based out of New York and India. His unique Acoustic Fingerstyle style of playing the guitar has gathered much attention. His first album, `What Is Now` was released in New York in 2016 and can be listened to on Apple Music, Bandcamp and Spotify.`
This performance will feature Guitarist and Composer Bhrigu Sahni`s compositions and his unique style of playing the guitar.
Shuttling between New York City and Mumbai, he has played at venues such as the Blue Note Jazz Club (NYC), Carnegie Hall.
